Strange... I'm running W2k too and am having no problem.
The only thing which can go wrong here is the automatic directory detection (for the game). Can you check your game folder setting in TibEd Preferences?
Does this, by accident, contain the name of the executable of the game?
If so, could you please contact me/reply here?
