You can edit the MOUSE.SHP file, which you can find somewhere in the mixfiles with XCC Mixer. Then you can convert it to multiple PCX files, edit a few, and then you have to set a special option in XCC Mixer (don't know which one, ask in the XCC forum on http://xccu.sf.net), and then you've got changed cursors.
But this is hard and a lot of work. But it is possible.
