TibEd should work fine with v1.003 (even though TibEd internally uses the 1.006 ini's). It could be something with your changes? Try changing nothing at all (or just the cost of the GI), then applying your changes, and then see if the game still crashes. It could also be that v1.003 still contains bugs (which could be the reason for 1.006
